NBN New Builds & Greenfield Developments
We plan and deliver NBN infrastructure for new developments of any size, whether that is a two-lot subdivision or a staged estate of several hundred dwellings. It starts with registering the development with NBN Co, then turning their specification into a pit-and-pipe design your civil contractor can actually build to. That covers trench depths, conduit sizing, pit placement and building-entry pathways.
One question comes up on nearly every new build, and it is an expensive one to get wrong: who pays for NBN infrastructure in a new development? The developer funds the trenching, conduit and pits, and may also carry NBN Co's new development charges. NBN Co supplies the fibre and network equipment. We put all of that in writing early, so it lands in your budget rather than turning up as a surprise halfway through the build.
Multi-dwelling units bring their own requirements, such as communications rooms, riser pathways and in-building fibre distribution. We work through those with your architect, electrician and cabler before anything is poured.
